Services, rates and accepted forms of payment

Individual counseling sessions are $175.00 for 50 minutes.
Clients may choose extended 90 minute sessions by request at $250.00

Couples counseling sessions are $200.00 for 50 minutes.
Clients may choose extended 90 minute couples counseling sessions at $300.00.

Payment is due before the beginning of the session. A credit card on file is required to ensure payment at the time of service. I accept all major credit/debit cards as well as Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) as payment.
The Advantages of Private Pay
To ensure the highest standard of care, I do not participate in any insurance networks. Opting for private pay offers several advantages:
Insurance mandates meeting "medical necessity" and specific diagnostic criteria for mental disorders, which may not align with our therapeutic approach. Any diagnosis at Minding Your Nest, PLLC is a discussion between counselor and client.
Your medical records remain free from permanent diagnostic labels.
Your confidentiality is upheld, safeguarding your personal information from insurance companies.
Rather than insurance dictating your care, we collaboratively design a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
Upon request, I can provide a "superbill" detailing services rendered, allowing you to pursue insurance reimbursement. You are responsible for understanding your out-of-network insurance benefits and associated costs.
