While we recognize this is not a decision made lightly, per the guidance of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, this session provides an important opportunity to review and reflect on the psychological and emotional implications of third-party reproduction. It is a chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and gain insight in a supportive, psychoeducational setting. Gestational Carrier Clinical Interview is a 60–90 minute consultation for individuals considering serving as a gestational carrier. This session is designed for you to discuss your motivations, expectations, and the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of third-party reproduction with a qualified mental health professional. While we recognize this is not a decision made lightly, per the guidance of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, this session provides an important opportunity to explore boundaries, review contract requests, clarify expectations regarding your relationship with the intended parents and the child post-pregnancy, and reflect on potential challenges. It is also a chance to ask questions and gain insight in a supportive, psychoeducational setting. After the session, the clinician will provide a consultation report to the intended parents for the physician or fertility clinic.

After the session, the clinician will provide a brief consultation report for your physician or fertility clinic. All involved parties and their partners must be present for this session.
